      Description

Missing from Bika 3 is the capability to print Worksheets neatly. It is very popular requirement - many labs do not have LIMS access on all of their benches and resort to capturing results on paper first before entering them into the system from a central PC.

This can be done more accurately if the paper version closely resemble the actual worksheets. These are then physically signed and by the analyst and filed. See attached scans.

The full requirement is to present the prints in both AR by row or column orientations but the latter is not available onscreen yet and should be a secondary and done later as this is quite an urgent requirement.

Unless it can be done quite easily, I doubt, or creating the print version without the online form - but that defeats the object of limiting transcription errors that can creep in when transposing columns to rows.

Presenting ARs by columns is quite handy though when more than one analysis per sample is included on the WS.

The prints could also be improved from the attached Bika 1 scans - eg Date published and Status are useless. On the AR by column scan, the Sample ID row seems to be wrongly filled with client contact details...

      We should add:

      Sample Type

WS ID as a barcode for easier navigation when going up to the PC to enter the results

a column/row for indicating whether a result was retested and space for both

See last comment over at https://jira.bikalabs.com/browse/LIMS-1312, one could look at utilising the Batch Book code, but applied for Worksheets

The layout isn't the same as the requirement but it looks but reproduced in print the data can still be captured cell to cell. Attaching screenshot
