Result value is erased when using "<" symbol

      Description

      In 3.1.7dev version the result value is erased after clicking in "submit for verification" button when using "<" symbol as in "<0.002".

          Maybe I'm missing something, but out-of-range results should be managed by using analysis specs.

          The problem is that out-of range- results need that you input a result and then the system changes it to the limit. From my point of view it is not always correct to input a value which is not quantifiable to make the system able to change it, as it can create confusion.

          In previous releases the systems allows the use of "<" in the results field.

          Umm... when you say "3.1.7dev" you mean Bika-LIMS/hotfix/3.1.7 or Bika-LIMS/develop ?
          Bika-LIMS/develop is going to be the release 3.2
