      Description

      Cascading Statuses

When all the Analyses on a Worksheet were submitted and promoted to To be Verified the worksheet advances too

The same principle applies to Sample records, the parent Sample clicks up when all its individual Analyses have done so

      https://bikatest.greenhilllabs.co.za/worksheets/WS-006/manage_results

      First Verification

A labmanager, or any user with Verification authorisation, now has to log on and review the results, in context of their peers and if available, the QC results on the worksheet

The 'no verification allowed' icon is not displayed to this user

The user may still retract any dubious results for retesting as demonstrated in the previous section. In this case he/she is happy, selects all and pushes the Verify button

After this Verification, the number of Verifications is ticked up to 1 out of 2, and the user alerted that the 2nd verifcation cannot be done by him/her too

      Second Verification

The lab's veterinarian, signs in and does the second verification

With all the analyses on the WS Verified, its own status transitions to Verified too

      and listed as such

      The Samples now

Drilling down o the first Sample, DMU-0012, the user can see that all these results appear there as Verified too. This is actually where the Analyses really live and belong, on the Sample. The Worksheet provides another collective view on them

      SCC

The procedure is repeated on the second worksheet containing the SCC analyses, and when done, the Worksheet is Verified and listed as such

All Analyses on the Samples now too - a mouse-over on the WS icon indicates to which Worksheet each was assigned

The Sample self transitioned to Verified and can now be published

Note that clients closely tracking their Samples can already see the results online, the Publication transition will also deliver it to them by email

      Configuring COA defaults

Do only once, select template, set up the page and email options

The multi column COA works best for big Sample batches, in landscape and you want to send 1 email only
